The Car is Shiny!

Alright, so these pictures are more reflection than car - but what a reflection!

We painted only the spots that needed it the most, as shown. And we sanded and painted it by hand! Tada!

Adventures with black paint and a Mitsubishi

Here is Jenny's dad's 2002 Mitsubishi Gallant with a little bit of sanding (we forgot to take a complete 'before' pic).And here it is with one coat of paint! Looks like a new car :) We still have work to do, but it's coming along nicely.
I think this will be the fashion this coming fall.

Paint and Plants

Before we set out on our Alaskan school year, we decided to come and spend a few months in Oregon with Joe's family.


Here are the cars we were working on last summer - purple Volvo and blue GMC pickup! We painted them ourselves.



This is our vegetable garden... kind of. It's all in pots, but we like to say 'garden' anyway. The strawberries are only ripening one at a time, so we switch off who gets to eat it :)


The zucchini plant is finally bearing fruit. This one ought to be ready in a week or two. YUM



The bell pepper will be red sometime in the near future... we hope.

Last but not least, he's not really paint or plant, but he's the cat with whom we share the house. His name is Gemini. He sleeps a lot. And he snores.
